Psychotherapy for adults

Often, the people I see are managing their responsibilities well from the outside, but are finding themselves in need of support to make sense of a particular situation, relationship, or pattern that has become harder to navigate on their own.

What brings people in

I work with adults navigating a wide range of difficulties, including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Relationship challenges
  • Grief
  • The stress of adjusting to changes or transitions in life

How I work

In my work with adults, I draw on psychodynamic, relational, and cognitive behavioral approaches, tailoring treatment to each patient. I am especially interested in the relational patterns and history that shape how we move through the present. Much of the work is helping people understand themselves, their relationships, and their lives with greater clarity.

I also work closely with new parents. Becoming a parent is its own profound transition — one that can bring up unexpected questions, feelings, and echoes of one’s own history, even amid the joy of a new relationship with a child. Explore parenting & co-parenting work →
